Trinity's vision is to be a community gathering place and a missional launching pad, seeking to meet God at 416 East First Street and take God into the community and the world.
Youth and Children's Ministries
Trinityís Youth time begins with a small worship service in the chapel at 6:15 on Tuesday nights. Then the group breaks off into three different groups for discussion and youth activities. The three different groups range from the childrenís ministries, starting around 2-3 grade, through our middle school youth to our high school youth. We are excited about the new opportunities to reach our youth and the youth of the surrounding communities. We invite all youth and children to come be a part of this new adventure.
Trinity Christian Martial Arts
Trinity Christian Martial Arts works to develop the mind, body, and spirit by creating relationships and an environment with God at the center. The cost of enrollment is a one-time registration fee of $50 per student and $10 monthly fees. This pays for the uniform, mouth guard and insurance. As students progress through ranks, they will test to receive higher belts. We charge $25 to belt test which covers the cost of new belt and color-coordinated Trinity Martial Arts tee-shirt which students will receive upon completion. COME TRY US OUT! We accept students from ages 5 and up. Current classes are meeting on Mondays and Thursdays 5:30-7:00 pm.
God's Supper Table
Godís Supper Table is a Wednesday evening feeding program hosted by Trinity United Methodist Church in Kannapolis. Realizing that hunger exists in our own community, we began this ministry in March 2009 to provide a free meal, approximately 50 weeks a year, to anyone who walks in the door. Since the beginning, those who have served meals at Godís Supper Table not only include groups from within Trinity, but from other churches, businesses, service organizations, schools, individual families, and more. On Wednesday nights, a meal is prepared and served for our guests who would like to share a meal and to fellowship with others.
Trinity United Methodist Church sponsors Cub Scout Pack 33. Pack 33 is open to all young boys ages 5-10 years old. Adult participation is also encouraged. The pack meeting is on Monday night from 7:00 until 8:00pm and offers a full schedule of advancement from Bobcat to the Arrow of Light. If interested, please call the church office at 704-933-1127.
